Station 4 has been the heart of queer Dallas since 1980. Five rooms, four floors, one address on Cedar Springs — and the same answer for forty-five years to the question “where should we go tonight?”
We are the biggest LGBTQ+ bar in the state of Texas, and by every honest measure, the biggest in the nation. The Rose Room is the most legendary drag stage in the South. The Main Floor stacks two stories of dancing back-to-back. Granite throws the city’s hardest rave residencies. Cheat Code is a gaming bar that takes its tournaments seriously. The Horror Bar is permanent October, candle-lit and theatrical.
One Family, Five Worlds
Every room at S4 has its own crowd, its own DJ booth, its own personality — and one door connects them all. Come for the drag show in the Rose Room, stay for a round of Smash Bros in Cheat Code, end the night dancing upstairs on the Main Floor.
18+ Every Night
S4 is 18+ every night of the week, with no exceptions. A valid physical ID is required at the door — digital IDs and photos of IDs are not accepted. We card everyone, every night, regardless of how often you’ve been here before.
This is everybody’s bar. Come dressed how you want, dance how you want, and look out for each other.

Does Station 4 have a dress code? +
No dress code — come as you are. We do enforce all state and local policies and laws: please make sure all butts, private areas, and under-breasts are covered and not visible while in the venue.
Is there re-entry? +
Yes — if you’ve already paid, use the re-entry doors at any time. Please don’t wait in the main line again. Guests who entered during a free period may not qualify for re-entry unless they paid at initial entry.
Re-entry closes at 2AM, when Station 4 Afters begins.
What are the age requirements? +
18+ every night with a physical, government-issued ID. You must be 21+ to drink alcohol — no exceptions.
Do you accept picture or digital ID cards? +
No. Physical, government-issued ID only. Texas does not accept mobile IDs from other states, and we can’t accept picture IDs with the rise of AI-generated fakes.
What is the bag policy? +
You’re welcome to bring a small bag up to 12″ × 6″ × 12″ (about the size of a shoebox or small backpack). Bags may be checked before entry — clear bags make things quicker.
What’s the smoking and vape policy? +
Smoking and vaping are only permitted on our two outdoor patios — one per floor. Per Dallas city ordinance, do not smoke or vape inside the venue.
Is there a lost and found? +
Yes — call (214) 526-7171 during business hours, or ask at the front desk on your next visit. We hold lost-and-found items for 30 days.
What time do the doors generally open? +
9PM, Wednesday through Sunday. Station 4 Afters keeps the building going ’til 4AM. Closed Monday and Tuesday.
